Dr Stephen Kelly

Dr Stephen Kelly is an accomplished ENT surgeon and head & neck specialist with extensive experience in a wide range of ENT surgeries including otology, rhinology, and voice disorders. He earned his medical degree from Queen’s University of Belfast, Northern Ireland, and received his Diploma of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2007. Dr Kelly then completed a five-year ENT surgery specialist training program in Queensland, earning his fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2016. To further enhance his skills, Dr Kelly completed a Rhinology and Otology Fellowship at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, UK, where he gained exposure to advanced otologic and rhinological surgical techniques. His contributions to the field of ENT surgery include research, publications, and presentations in Australia, Great Britain, and Ireland. Dr Kelly is a dedicated associate lecturer at the University of Queensland who actively supports and mentors registrars in ENT training in Queensland, junior doctors, and medical students at Ipswich Hospital. He holds membership in the Multidisciplinary Head & Neck Oncology Clinic at Ipswich Hospital, where he contributes his valuable expertise. Dr Kelly is passionate about providing the best possible care to his patients and continues to enhance his knowledge and skills to keep abreast of the latest advancements in ENT surgery.
