Meet Dr. Ian Gutteridge, a highly qualified and passionate Australian-trained ENT Surgeon, with a keen interest in ear surgery and cochlear implantation. Dr. Gutteridge's journey began with obtaining a fellowship in ENT surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2017. He then pursued further sub-specialty training in Head and Neck Cancer surgery at the prestigious Princess Alexandra Hospital before completing a Fellowship in Otology and Neurotology at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney.
Dr. Gutteridge's primary focus lies in addressing ear-related conditions, including surgery for hearing loss correction, implantable hearing devices, and cochlear implantation. His proficiency in ear surgery led to his appointment at both the Ipswich Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, where he continues to provide clinical support. In addition to his exceptional clinical performance, Ian also serves as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Queensland, where he plays an integral part in educating and training ENT registrars, junior medical staff, and medical students.
