Dr Raymond Kwok

Dr Raymond Kwok is a well qualified Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with extensive experience and expertise in his field. Currently, he is working at Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) as a Staff Specialist at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals, as well as a Visiting Medical Officer at Norwest Private Hospital.

Dr Kwok obtained his combined degree in Medicine and Science from the University of New South Wales. He completed comprehensive training in Sydney at Concord, Nepean, and Bankstown Hospitals. In recognition of his excellence and commitment to his profession, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) certification in 2011.

Throughout his career, Dr Kwok has received numerous accolades and achievements. In 2013, he spent 18 months as the Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of Digestive Diseases, Prince of Wales Hospital, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. During this time, he collaborated on several research projects that resulted in publications in reputable medical journals such as GUT and APT.

Following his fellowship, Dr Kwok served as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Alexandria Health, Kho-Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore. During his three-year tenure, he published several papers, co-authored an abstract that won a top 10 percent poster award at the 2017 Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL), held in Shanghai, and completed his PhD at the University of Sydney.

Dr Kwok manages a range of gastroenterology disorders and provides general endoscopy services to both elective outpatients and acutely unwell inpatients. He places great importance on establishing strong patient-doctor relationships and adopts a patient-centric approach to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients. With his background, experience, and expertise, Dr Raymond Kwok is a meticulous and highly respected Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist within Western Sydney Local Health District.
