Dr Phuong Tran

Dr Phuong Tran is a skilled Radiation Oncologist based in Adelaide, South Australia. With a primary practice in the suburb of Adelaide, Dr Tran is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients.

Dr Tran received her medical degree from the esteemed University of Adelaide in 1998. She then went on to complete her postgraduate training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where she gained invaluable experience in the field of Radiation Oncology. As the inaugural trainee at Adelaide Radiotherapy Centre/Flinders Medical Centre, Dr Tran obtained her specialist qualifications in Radiation Oncology in 2006.

With a focus on urological malignancies, particularly prostate cancer, Dr Tran has become a leading expert in her field. She has successfully established the Prostate Low-Dose Rate Brachytherapy Program at Tennyson Centre and is actively involved in the development of the multi-institutional Prostate Brachytherapy Database Project, led by Genesis Cancer Care.
