Dr Julie Bradley

Dr. Julie Bradley is a highly skilled and experienced Cardiologist based in Adelaide, South Australia. With a focus on providing comprehensive cardiac care, she has established herself as a respected and integral member of the medical community.

Dr. Bradley completed her medical education at the University of Adelaide, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with distinction in 1979. Following her undergraduate studies, she pursued further training and specialization, completing her physician training at Flinders Medical Centre, and her cardiology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

In 1985, Dr. Bradley attained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and became Adelaide's first female Cardiologist. Committed to ongoing professional development, she undertook further studies in Doppler echocardiography at the prestigious Brompton Hospital in London in 1985-1986. Her passion and dedication to her field were recognized in 2005 when she was awarded the Fellowship of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ).

Currently serving as a Senior Staff Specialist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Dr. Bradley plays an integral role in the hospital's Structural Heart Disease program. Additionally, she holds the position of Head of the Royal Adelaide Hospital Echocardiography Department, showcasing her expertise in this critical aspect of cardiovascular diagnostics.

Dr. Bradley's diverse interests within the field of cardiology encompass echocardiography, coronary angiography, women's heart health issues, and cardiac failure. Moreover, she is actively expanding her expertise in Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging, with a particular focus on Coronary CT Angiography and Cardiac MRI.

In 2009, Dr. Bradley joined Adelaide Cardiology, where she consults at the St. Andrew's Medical Centre. Her collaboration with this esteemed institution continues to enable her to provide exceptional care to her patients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of cardiac services.
