Dr Peter Swindle

Dr Peter Swindle is a well-respected urologist who is dedicated to the treatment of prostate cancer. With a career that spans over two decades, Dr Swindle is recognised as one of the few urologists in Australia who specialises solely in prostate cancer, where his practice is limited to diseases of the prostate. His expertise lies in Robotic Prostatectomy and Prostate Brachytherapy, where he has made significant contributions to these areas through research and practice.

Dr Swindle's career began in 1990 when he graduated from The University of Queensland, where he earned his specialist qualifications from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2000. He also holds a Masters of Surgery degree from the University of Sydney, which he obtained based on prostate cancer research.

Dr Swindle's pursuit of knowledge led him to complete subspecialty fellowship training in the United States at the renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre (MSKCC) in New York. At MSKCC, he spent a further two years after his Australian specialist training undergoing subspecialty training in prostate cancer, which has honed his skills and knowledge in the field.
