Dr Marcus Chia

Dr Marcus Chia is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a focus on Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He has a comprehensive background in both surgical training and physiotherapy, allowing him to provide holistic care to his patients. Marcus completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2011 and further enhanced his skills at the Alps Surgery Institute, Clinique Generale, Annecy, France, under the mentorship of Dr Laurent Lafosse, a renowned expert in shoulder arthroscopy.

With a strong commitment to utilizing advanced techniques and minimally invasive procedures, Marcus specializes in the treatment of Shoulder instability, Rotator cuff tears, fractures, as well as less common shoulder and elbow disorders. He is particularly experienced in managing arthritis through innovative approaches, aiming to restore function and improve the quality of life for his patients.
