Dr Alex Nicholls

Dr. Alex Nicholls is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee surgeries. With a primary practicing suburb in Westmead, Sydney, Dr. Nicholls is associated with prestigious hospitals such as Northern Beaches Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital, and Westmead Private Hospital.

Having a particular interest in knee surgeries, Dr. Nicholls focuses on treating adult and pediatric knee conditions, sports knee injuries, arthroscopic ligament reconstructions, and managing arthritis. He also specializes in partial and total joint replacement surgery, utilizing computer-assisted navigation techniques.

Dr. Nicholls obtained extensive training in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. In 2008, he received the prestigious Lord Nuffield Scholarship, allowing him to conduct research in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Oxford. This research led to the award of a Master’s degree in Science, focusing on osteoarthritis.
