Dr Galbo is a general physician and geriatrician with a passion for healthy aging, chronic disease management, orthogeriatrics, rehabilitation in the elderly, and the diagnosis and management of delirium and dementia and its associated neuropsychiatric symptoms. After completing his medical training at The Princess Alexandra Hospital and Prince Charles Hospital, he gained extensive experience in geriatric rehabilitation and management of advanced dementia's behavioural symptoms. Dr Galbo had worked at Caboolture Hospital as a Consultant Physician and Geriatrician where he served closely with Old Aged Psychiatry to manage the complex elderly with depression, delirium, and dementia both in hospital and in Residential Aged Care Facilities. Dr Galbo understands that taking the time for providing patient-centered, holistic care is critical for every patient, and therefore, he puts a high emphasis on the importance of early diagnosis and management to maintain their independence and dignity. He is affiliated with the Royal Australian College of Physicians, the Australia and New Zealand Society of Geriatric Medicine, and the Australian Medical Association. Dr Galbo is an Associate Lecturer for the University of Queensland School of Medicine and actively engaged in hospital teaching of medical students.
