Dr Leighton Chadwick

Dr. Leighton Chadwick is an experienced Psychiatrist practicing in the medical field. Graduating in 1991 with MBBS from UWA, Dr. Chadwick has gained extensive experience over the years. With a specialization in Psychiatry, he holds FRANZCP, a fellowship degree awarded by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, since 2005.

Dr. Chadwick currently consults for his clinical practice on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, and is staffed on Tuesday through Thursday days. His clinical practice doesn't accept referrals for worker's compensation, medico-legal, or ADHD. He only accepts patients over 18 years of age, and requires referral by prior arrangement.

As a well-qualified and experienced Psychiatrist, Dr. Chadwick's clinical experience is diverse and comprehensive. Though he practices only two afternoons per week, his services have benefited many patients. Dr. Chadwick enjoys helping and engaging with patients, and his advanced qualifications have enabled him to provide expert consultation and diagnoses.

Dr. Chadwick has a special interest in bipolar disorders, psychosis, depressive disorders, and most aspects of general adult psychiatry. He has experience working with doctors, psychiatrists, medical students, and individuals with intellectual disabilities. His areas of expertise include anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, brain injury, depression, developmental disability, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), obsessive-compulsive disorders, psychosis, schizophrenia, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

In addition to his regular practice, Dr. Chadwick also provides bulk-billing services for medical students.
