Dr Mini Zachariah

Dr Mini Zachariah is a highly qualified Obstetrician & Gynaecologist based in Perth, Australia. She has extensive experience in providing consultation and treatment for general gynaecological problems. Currently, she serves as a Consultant Gynaecologist at KEMH (King Edward Memorial Hospital) and practices at Hollywood Private Hospital.

Dr Zachariah has a particular interest in the field of Endometriosis, a condition that affects millions of women worldwide. She has dedicated her expertise to advanced laparoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy, adnexal surgery, and treatment of endometriosis. Along with her surgical expertise, she also provides medical and surgical management for uterovaginal prolapse, menstrual disorders, fibroids, colposcopy, and sub-fertility assessment and management.

As the Clinical Lead for the Multidisciplinary team "Venus," Dr Zachariah is focused on the management of endometriosis and pelvic pain. She plays a crucial role in coordinating the team's efforts to provide comprehensive and effective care to patients.

In addition, Dr Zachariah is a training program supervisor for O&G specialist trainees with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). She is dedicated to shaping the next generation of specialists in her field. Furthermore, she serves as a Senior Clinical Lecturer for medical students at the University of Western Australia (UWA), where she imparts her vast knowledge and experience.

Dr Zachariah's passion lies in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. She specialises in the management of Endometriosis and various menstrual disorders. Her expertise also extends to pelvic reconstructive surgery, subfertility, and assisted reproduction techniques.

Prior to her current roles, Dr Zachariah underwent specialist training (CCST) in the UK and worked as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. She held the position of Director of Emergency Department for five years at King Edward Memorial Hospital, in addition to her role as a Consultant. During her training program, she received extensive special skills training in advanced minimal access surgery and reproductive medicine. She has a special interest in the surgical management of deep infiltrating endometriosis.
