Dr Gian Singh

Dr Gian Singh is an experienced Consultant Dermatologist with a patient-centered approach who is skilled in treating a wide range of skin diseases and disorders in children, teenagers, and adults. He currently operates clinics in Nedlands, Murdoch, and Midland, in Perth, Western Australia. Dr Singh is passionate about educating patients about their conditions and takes a holistic approach that includes coordinating with the patient's GP and connecting them with allied health professionals, if necessary.

Dr Singh has a particular interest in managing acne, eczema, scarring, and skin cancer, including melanoma surgery. He also has extensive experience in treating disorders prevalent in ethnic and skin of color populations, such as vitiligo and hyperpigmentation. All consultations and services provided by Dr Singh are on a known fee basis, and urgent cases can be accommodated within 24-48 hours upon specific communication by referring doctors.

Dr Singh obtained his MBBS degree from the University of Western Australia in 1977 and completed his internship at Fremantle Hospital. He then worked for over a decade in rural general practice in Newman in the Pilbara. Following this, he underwent specialist Dermatology training at various hospitals in Perth and became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) in 1994.

In addition to his role as a Specialist Consultant Dermatologist, Dr Singh is a Senior Lecturer in Dermatology at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle. He is a member of the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, International Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, and a former member of the Malaysian Dermatology Society. Dr Singh has also been invited as a guest speaker and skill demonstrator in dermatologic surgery at local and international dermatological meetings and institutions.
