Prof Gabriel Lee

Professor Gabriel Lee graduated with an MBBS (Hons) and went on to complete his neurosurgery training in Adelaide and Perth. To expand his expertise, he completed sub-specialty fellowships at Toronto Western Hospital in Canada and Yale University in the US. Professor Lee returned to Western Australia in 2006, where he now focuses on general neurosurgery with specialist interests in pituitary and brain tumours (including those located within the eloquent cortex), spinal tumours, complex spinal conditions, and epilepsy surgery. Over the years, Professor Lee has maintained a remarkable track record of teaching and research, contributing significantly to the field of neurosurgery through his extensive publication record. He recently stepped down from his position on the Board of Neurosurgical Society of Australasia, after dutifully serving for five years. At Hollywood Private Hospital, Professor Lee sees patients within his consulting suites located at the Hollywood Medical Centre. In addition to that, he holds a public appointment at the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Through his years of experience and dedication to his profession, Professor Lee has established himself as a well-known and accomplished neurosurgeon in Western Australia.
