Dr Katherine Holzhauser

Meet Dr. Katherine Holzhauser, an experienced General Practitioner with a passion for chronic disease management and mental health. Dr. Holzhauser graduated with an Honours degree in Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from JCU in 2007, and has since obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. With a dedication to ongoing learning and development, Dr. Holzhauser is currently pursuing her Graduate Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine.

Dr. Holzhauser finds joy in all aspects of General Practice, however her interests particularly lie in the management of chronic diseases and mental health. Her holistic approach to patient care ensures that each individual's needs are thoroughly addressed and tailored to their own unique circumstances.

Outside of her work, Dr. Holzhauser enjoys spending quality time with her family and indulging in hobbies such as mountain biking and gardening. Recently, she has transitioned to a new GP clinic at Upward Life Family Practice, where she continues to provide excellent care and service to her patients.
