Dr. Hancock is a highly experienced general practitioner who graduated from the University of Queensland in Brisbane. He subsequently completed his GP training in Western Australia, where he developed a keen interest in helming patients under difficult and challenging circumstances. Prior to his service as a general practitioner, Dr. Hancock served as a Medical Officer with the Royal Australian Navy, specializing as a Senior Advisor in Submarine Medicine for several years.
Dr. Hancock's medical background and interest in challenging cases led him to hold a Graduate Certificate in Sports Medicine. He has a particular interest in sports medicine, as well as underwater, expedition, and remote medicine. Furthermore, Dr. Hancock is passionate about Indigenous and Child Health, as evidenced by his active participation in various community programs focusing on these areas.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Hancock likes to spend time with his family and take his dog for walks. He is currently a highly regarded local general practitioner working out of Redlynch and Kuranda Medical Centres.
