The regional city of Horsham is located in the Wimmera area of western Victoria in Australia. It lies about 300 km northwest of Melbourne and is centred on a bend in the Wimmera River.
Horsham is the main administrative centre for the local government area of the Rural City of Horsham. As of June 2018, Horsham had a population of 16,514, making the city the most populous one in Wimmera. Further, Horsham is the eleventh largest city in the state of Victoria.

History of Horsham James Monckton Darlot is an early settler of the land and named it after Horsham's native English town. Horsham grew and developed rapidly throughout the latter 19th and the early 20th centuries, during which the city became the major centre of Western Victoria's wool and wheat industries. In 1949, Horsham was proclaimed a city, and later in 2001, it was given the title of Australia's Tidiest Town.
