Dr Tzu-yang Wang is a highly accomplished clinical and laboratory haematologist, who graduated from the University of Queensland with honours. He completed his specialist training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. Dr Wang is also passionate about teaching and is currently a senior lecturer with the University of Queensland, as well as providing physician training. Furthermore, he is actively involved in clinical research at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Dr Wang specialises in diagnosing and managing a range of malignant and non-malignant blood disorders. These include acute and chronic leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplasia, abnormal lymphadenopathy, myeloproliferative disorders, haemostasis and thrombosis, iron deficiency/overload, and haemoglobinopathies. With his wide-ranging expertise, patients can trust in the quality of care they receive under Dr Wang's guidance. Moreover, he is fluent in both English and Mandarin, making it easier for non-English speaking patients to communicate and receive comfortable treatment.
