Dr Tara Luck

Dr. Tara Luck is a distinguished General Surgeon who specializes in Upper GI Surgery. Born and raised in Darwin, Dr. Luck started her career as a clinical dietitian working in both Darwin and London. Later, she moved on to study Medicine and Surgery at Flinders University, where she graduated with Honours as the highest-ranked student.

During her surgical training in Melbourne, Dr. Luck worked in various surgical units such as colorectal, breast and endocrine, thoracics, and bariatric units. To further enhance her skills and knowledge, she completed a Fellowship year in Upper GI Surgery under the mentorship of the Chair of the Australian Board of General Surgery.

Dr. Luck's interests lie in laparoscopic and open gastrointestinal surgery, anti-reflux surgery, and the full suite of general surgery. She is a qualified endoscopist and believes in providing her patients with the best possible care using the latest surgical techniques.
