Dr Subash Heraganahally

Subash is a qualified Respiratory & Sleep Medicine expert who finished his training at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide. He acquired his basic Medical Degree (MBBS, MD) overseas and spent numerous years as a clinician and senior lecturer at a large teaching tertiary care Christian Mission Hospital in India. In 2011, he relocated to Darwin where he established a state-of-the-art sleep study lab and lung function testing unit in Darwin Private Hospital, catering to adults and children, including public patients from RDH.

Subash has a wealth of experience managing patients with General Medical and Respiratory & Sleep disorders, both simple and complex, and is renowned for providing high-quality service with honesty, passion, dedication, and integrity. His interests include interstitial lung disease, pleural disease, asthma, COPD & emphysema, and Indigenous health.

Apart from his clinical work, Subash enjoys teaching medical graduates and is presently lecturing at the NT Medical School, Charles Darwin University/Royal Darwin Hospital. For his commendable teaching, he has received Lecturer status from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Flinders University in Adelaide.
