Dr Tamara Preda

Dr Tamara Preda is a highly skilled breast and endocrine surgeon, serving patients in Sydney. With affiliations to the Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand, Australian and New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons, and General Surgeons Australia, she is dedicated to providing top-notch care to those who need it. Dr Preda is also a Lecturer in Surgery at the University of Notre Dame in Sydney where she teaches and assesses medical students.

Dr Preda completed subspecialty training in Southern Australia, Western Australia, and New South Wales. She earned her Fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) following the completion of her core general surgery rotations. With her expertise in Masters of Surgery and Breast-Endocrine research, she remains active in contributing to the medical field through publications.

Dr Preda invites referrals for the assessment of all breast problems, including screening or general risk assessment, benign lumps, and those considered suspicious for or proven to be cancer. She works closely with radiology, pathology, oncology, and plastic surgery colleagues as needed to provide efficient multidisciplinary care. She also specialises in treating benign and malignant conditions of the thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
