Dr Elisabeth Rippy

Dr. Lisa is a renowned breast surgeon with over a decade of experience in treating breast cancer patients. She completed her BSc in Biochemistry and Physiology from Kings College, London and went on to pursue medicine at Charing Cross and Westminister Medical School in London. With a specialisation in Molecular Biology, she holds a Master's in Surgical Science and is a fellow of both the Royal Colleges of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Australasia.

After specialising in breastwork, Dr. Lisa trained at King's College Hospital London and Guildford before completing a fellowship in Oncoplastic Surgery (Breast Reconstruction) in Nottingham. Her skills were honed further during her tenure as a consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Adelaide and a clinical senior lecturer at the University of Adelaide.

Dr. Lisa relocated to Sydney a few years ago and opened her clinic at the Poche Centre in North Sydney. She is passionate about educating patients, doctors, and other stakeholders about breast cancer and regularly speaks at seminars conducted by ASUM, GPs, and other organisations. Her articles on breast cancer and reconstructive surgery have been published in the Medical Observer.

Her area of expertise lies in breast reconstruction and pregnancy after breast cancer. Operating out of North Shore Private Hospital, Dr. Lisa is also a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at the Northern Breast Screen and the Sydney Breast Clinic. With a warm and compassionate approach, she employs the latest techniques and technology to help her patients recover quickly and lead a healthy life post-surgery.
