Dr Surabhi Gupta

Dr Surabhi Gupta is a highly qualified and experienced medical practitioner who specialises in pain management. She is currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency and has obtained her Faculty Pain Medicine ANZCA fellowship in 2020. With over a decade of experience as an anaesthetist in both public and private sectors, Dr Gupta has worked at Nepean Hospital in NSW and Canberra Hospital in ACT. Currently, she practices at Frankston Pain Management where she uses her vast knowledge and experience to provide quality health care services to her patients.

Dr Gupta received her Bachelor of Medicine from Dehli, India, after which she went on to complete a Diploma in Anaesthesiology and her Diploma of the National Board of Examinations in Anaesthesiology. Her commitment to continuous learning and professional development saw her pursue a Faculty of Pain Medicine in Australia. Her areas of expertise lie in chronic lumbosacral back pain, chronic abdominal and pelvic pain, chronic complex regional pain syndrome, and other peripheral neuropathic pains.

Dr Gupta is adept in using different types of procedural skills such as ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, patient control analgesia, and patient control epidural analgesia, for perioperative and postoperative acute pain relief, labour analgesia, caudal epidural and ganglion impar block, guided facet blocks, and neurolytic procedures via radiofrequency ablation and pulsed and cooled radiofrequency ablation procedures.
