Dr. Pouya Hafezi is an accomplished specialist in Pain and Rehabilitation medicine, dually qualified and committed to providing the highest quality care to his patients. He completed his Rehabilitation physician training at Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2019, where he honed the skills and knowledge that make him an expert in the field. He then pursued further subspecialty training in Pain Medicine at Monash Health, St Vincent’s Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital, further strengthening his expertise in the management of pain conditions.

In recognition of his exceptional performance, Pouya was awarded a Merit award for his performance in the Faculty of Pain Medicine Fellowship examination in 2021, demonstrating his commitment to ongoing professional development. He has also undergone further Interventional Pain training at Melbourne Pain Group, constantly expanding his knowledge and ability to provide effective pain relief.

Pouya strongly believes in a multidisciplinary approach to managing pain and has an integrative approach to the management of pain conditions, which focuses on tailoring treatment to each patient's individual needs.
