Dr Bas Hanekamp

Originally from the Netherlands, Dr. Bas Hanekamp is a seasoned specialist physician with expertise in General Medicine and Renal Medicine. In 2010, Bas relocated to Australia with his family, where he has been practicing as a consultant in both fields at Eastern Health for the past few years. Alongside his training in advanced life support, Bas has completed a peri-operative medicine course and gained valuable experience working in remote locations throughout the continent.

Bas has a keen interest in chronic kidney disease, acute medicine, organ transplant, and plasmapharesis, and serves as a convenor for an annual acute care medicine course. With his extensive knowledge and experience, Bas is a versatile specialist in general medicine.
