Dr. Suki Ahluwalia is a Consultant ENT, Head & Neck Surgeon who has extensive medical training and experience. He obtained his medical degree from University College London and later earned a Masters degree in Surgery from Imperial College London. Dr. Ahluwalia then completed his specialist training program in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in London, which is highly competitive and selective.
During his tenure as a registrar, he received extensive training under leading professors in Otology, Rhinology and Sinus Surgery, Laryngology, Head and Neck Cancer Surgery, Paediatric ENT, and Facial Plastic Surgery, including Rhinoplasty. Dr. Ahluwalia also served as the President of the Otolaryngologists in Training and has written 18 peer-reviewed research papers, and 3 book chapters. He was awarded the St Bartholomew’s and Royal London Hospital Temporal Bone Dissection prize.
In 2010, he was recognized and admitted to the Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons of England, followed by the Lionel College and Nan Blofeld prizes from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012.
Dr. Ahluwalia relocated to Australia to begin his fellowship training at the Princess Alexandra and Logan Hospitals in 2012, where he gained extensive experience in Head and Neck Cancer surgery, general and paediatric ENT training before settling in Cairns where he currently works as a Staff Specialist at Cairns Hospital and has an established private practice.
Apart from being an excellent medical professional, Dr. Ahluwalia has various other interests such as scuba diving, underwater photography, and playing the guitar. His vast knowledge and skills have made him a sought-after doctor both in Australia and beyond, and he continues to be a vital resource for his patients and colleagues alike.
