Stephen is a dedicated Thoracic and Sleep Physician serving the Cairns community and surrounding areas, working in both private and public healthcare settings. He is passionate about providing high-quality medical care to his patients and is committed to educating medical students, as well as other healthcare professionals. His specialization lies in obstructive lung diseases like asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and bronchiectasis. He gained experience in these conditions through his research at the Woolcock Institute in Sydney before moving to Cairns. In addition, he has extensive experience in treating lung cancer, interstitial lung diseases, and occupational lung diseases. As an independent medical examiner for WorkCover QLD, he ensures that patients receive the care and support they need to recover fully from work-related illnesses or injuries.
