Dr Stephen Strahan

Dr Stephen Strahan is a knowledgeable urologist who currently serves as a Visiting Medical Officer at Lismore Base Hospital. He has St. Vincent’s Lismore accreditation and is available to provide excellent care to both private and public patients. Stephen grew up in regional Queensland and graduated from the University of Queensland with a medical degree. Later, he moved to NSW to complete his Australian Urology training, spending time in notable Sydney Hospitals, Canberra, and Newcastle.

In 2017, Dr Strahan was awarded his fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. As of 2017-18, he has also completed a fellowship in Canada. His specialty interest is in various urology conditions like voiding dysfunction (BPH, incontinence, strictures), stones (kidney, bladder), and cancer (bladder, kidney, prostate, testis).

Dr Strahan is proud to offer various specialty services such as laparoscopic surgery, reconstructive surgery, endourology & laser therapies, and general/open urology.
