Dr Rajat Mittal

Dr. Mittal is a highly experienced and skilled orthopaedic surgeon with a focus on trauma and sub-speciality interests in foot and ankle and knee surgery. He received his training in Australia and has completed numerous academic degrees including a Master of Medicine, Master of Surgery and a PhD in orthopaedics. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association, and has also completed fellowships in ankle arthroplasty, arthroscopy, hindfoot, midfoot and forefoot fusion surgery, as well as complex foot and ankle surgery with some of the country's leading foot and ankle surgeons.

Throughout his career, Dr. Mittal has been recognised with numerous awards, scholarships and grants and has published numerous journal articles. He is also a faculty member of the CLEAR course with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and an adjunct senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales.

Dr. Mittal aims to individualise treatments for each patient, using the latest research and technologies, as he recognises that every patient is unique. His special interests lie in knee and ankle replacements, including robotic surgery, joint fusions, sporting and traumatic injuries, as well as bunions and forefoot surgeries.
