Dr Phillip Malouf is a highly skilled General and Colorectal Surgeon, specialising in Laparoscopic general and colorectal surgery, colonoscopy (including advanced polypectomy), TEMS/ TAMIS transanal surgery, and disorders of the pelvic floor. He completed his General surgical fellowship and went on to pursue two further years of fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic surgery at The Bankstown-Lidcombe hospital, culminating in a master's degree in surgery from the University of Sydney. Dr Malouf went on to complete two years of fellowship with the highly esteemed Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ) at the Alfred hospital in Melbourne and St George Hospital in Kogarah.
With an extensive list of publications in various medical fields, including acute care general surgery, colorectal cancer, and premalignant diseases of the anus, Dr Malouf has focused his research on the impact of obesity in colorectal cancer surgery. He is a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales and has admitting rights at prestigious hospitals such as The Sutherland Hospital, Kareena Private Hospital, Kingsway Day Surgery, and St George Private Hospital.
