Dr Alistair Cameron-Strange is a highly accomplished Consultant Urologist who is passionate about improving the management and prevention of renal stone disease through his work at The Prince of Wales Private Hospital. With a particular interest in laser endoscopy, ESWL, and percutaneous nephrolithotomy for renal stones, Dr Cameron-Strange brings an exceptional level of expertise to his practice.
In addition to renal stone disease, Dr Cameron-Strange also specialises in prostate cancer and performs transperineal prostate biopsy and Robotic Prostatectomy for his patients. He is also experienced in laparoscopic nephrectomy for renal tumours.
Dr Cameron-Strange originally graduated with an MbChB from the University of Cape Town before relocating to London, where he earned his fellowship in general surgery while working at the renowned Royal Postgraduate Medical School at Hammersmith Hospital. Later, he underwent urology training at St Vincent's, Concord, and Prince Henry Hospital in Sydney and completed urology preceptorships in Germany and the USA.
As a highly respected medical professional, Dr Cameron-Strange serves as a VMO at The Prince of Wales Hospital and Sutherland Hospital, and he is the Director of ESWL at Prince of Wales Hospital. Dr Cameron-Strange is deeply committed to delivering the highest standard of care to all his patients and strives to improve their quality of life in every way possible through his clinical expertise and research.
