Dr Nick Benton

Meet Dr Nick Benton: a highly skilled Rheumatologist and General Physician. After completing his training at St George's Hospital in London, he relocated to New Zealand to continue his development at Auckland City Hospital, where he gained a wealth of broad clinical experience. Dr Benton's professional interests lie in early inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease and gout, and he has a keen interest in musculoskeletal imaging, particularly in MRI and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He has conducted research into early inflammatory arthritis and has published work in the field of musculoskeletal imaging. Aside from his work as a doctor, Dr Benton also holds a General Medicine appointment at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital, where he applies his expertise to helping a broader range of patients. He believes in taking a comprehensive approach to care, ensuring that every patient he treats receives personalised care that addresses not just their medical condition but also their overall wellbeing.
