Shirley Yu

Dr. Shirley Yu is a consultant rheumatologist who graduated from the University of New South Wales. She completed further specialist training at Canberra, Royal Prince Alfred, and Royal North Shore Hospitals. Dr. Yu is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Currently, she serves as a consultant rheumatologist at Royal North Shore Hospital, where she runs a general rheumatology clinic and the Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program clinics. Additionally, she is a clinical lecturer for the University of Sydney, Northern Clinical School.

Dr. Yu has a special interest in osteoarthritis and general rheumatology. Her expertise includes the diagnosis and medical management of various musculoskeletal conditions such as inflammatory arthritis, crystal arthropathies, systemic lupus erythematosus, myositis, and vasculitis. She is also experienced in managing connective tissue disease, spinal pain, and Sjogren's syndrome.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Dr. Yu is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to her patients and contributing to the education of future medical professionals.
