Dr. Anne Chung is a Consultant Rheumatologist and fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She holds a special interest in inflammatory diseases, particularly inflammatory arthritis, gout, and lupus. In 2013, Dr. Chung completed a year of Medical Fellowship with the Australian National University, during which she conducted research on factors influencing the response to biologic disease-modifying agents in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Dr. Chung is deeply involved in community education, having given numerous seminars on rheumatic conditions. Her commitment to teaching and research is reflected in her role as a Conjoint Associate Lecturer with the University of New South Wales. Known for her attentive approach, Dr. Chung places significant emphasis on listening to her patients' concerns and providing practical advice and management solutions for common rheumatological complaints.
She is dedicated to achieving optimal outcomes in the management of a wide range of rheumatic conditions, including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Spondyloarthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Gout, Osteoarthritis, Back pain, and Polymyalgia Rheumatica. Dr. Chung is fluent in both English and Cantonese, allowing her to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population. She is recognized as a caring and approachable physician, continually striving to enhance patient care through her expertise and compassionate approach.
