Dr Neomal Sandanayake

Dr Neomal Sandanayake, also known as Nemes, is an experienced physician and gastroenterologist specialising in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), ERCP, colonoscopy, and hepatology. He practices in Eastwood, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, and is associated with the prestigious North Shore Private Hospital.

Dr Sandanayake obtained his medical degree (MBBS) from The University of Sydney in 1998. He completed his physician and gastroenterology training at renowned hospitals including Royal Prince Alfred, Concord, and Royal North Shore Hospitals. In 2007 to 2010, he pursued further education in endoscopy at University College London Hospital and earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine from The University of Sydney for his research.
