Dr Robert Cheng is a gastroenterologist and physician based in Sydney, Australia. Having completed his medical education at the University of New South Wales, Dr Cheng undertook physician and gastroenterology training at renowned teaching hospitals such as Royal North Shore and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals. He further expanded his expertise through a liver transplant fellowship at RPA and completed his doctoral research in liver cancer genomics. Dr Cheng remains actively involved in collaborative clinical trials focusing on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
