Dr Henry Cheung

Dr Henry Cheung is an accomplished colorectal and general surgeon with a focus on treating colorectal cancer, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, proctology, hernias, skin and soft tissue lesions, as well as performing endoscopies and colonoscopies. Dr Cheung received his medical degree from the University of New South Wales and began his general surgical training at Concord and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals, along with their affiliated peripheral hospitals throughout New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

Dr Cheung has also completed a Master of Surgery in Colorectal Surgery from the University of Sydney and later obtained Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in general surgery. He then pursued further subspecialty training in Colorectal Surgery with the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand at Concord Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital. Dr Cheung has gained extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery in the management of colorectal and general surgical conditions.

Apart from his role at Strathfield Private Hospital, Dr Cheung also serves as a Colorectal Surgeon at Concord Hospital.
