Dr Aileen Yen

Dr Aileen Yen is a skilled general and laparoscopic surgeon with a particular interest in colorectal surgery. She completed her Graduate Medical Program and a Master of Surgery (Colorectal) from the University of Sydney, Australia. Dr Yen trained extensively throughout the western Sydney surgical network, including Westmead, Nepean, and Hawkesbury hospitals and completed her fellowship at Nepean Acute Surgery Unit, Royal Melbourne Colorectal unit, and Colchester NHS Trust in the United Kingdom.

Currently, Dr Yen serves as a senior instructor for the CCrISP course and is a clinical lecturer for the School of Medicine at The University of Notre Dame. Her special interests comprise laparoscopic colectomies, benign perianal surgery, laparoscopic hernia repairs, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, diverticulitis, bowel involvement in endometriosis, endoscopies, and colonoscopies, along with minor operations for lumps and bumps.

Dr Yen practices at Strathfield Private Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital, and Hawkesbury, where she provides excellent care to her patients. She also consults from two convenient locations, one at 3 Railway Parade, Burwood NSW 2134 and the other at 260-262 Beamish Street, Campsie NSW 2194. Dr Yen's extensive experience, along with her commitment to patient care and constant pursuit of knowledge, has made her a highly sought after surgeon in the field.
