Dr Nathan Hayward

Meet Nathan Hayward, an accomplished Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgeon and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) with extensive experience in general adult and paediatric ENT Surgery. Apart from his specialised training, Nathan has also undergone further sub-specialty training in the surgical management of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA), Snoring, and Sleep Disordered Breathing in both children and adults, making him one of the few surgeons in Australia with expert knowledge in Sleep Surgery. After obtaining his medical degree at The University of Sydney, Nathan completed his Internship, Surgical residency, and accredited training in General Surgery. He then joined the training program for Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, where he underwent rotations through major Victorian Hospitals before becoming a Consultant Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgeon at Monash Health.

Nathan is highly sought after as a speaker at International and National meetings, particularly in his sub-specialty interest of Sleep Surgery. He is also an author and co-author of several peer-reviewed publications. Nathan is committed to progress in his field, conducting research and striving for innovation.

Apart from his work in public hospitals, Nathan sees private patients at ENT Specialists Group locations in Heidelberg, Hawthorn, and the City. He operates privately at several metropolitan locations and regularly visits regional centres.
