Dr Stephen Kleid

An experienced Ear Nose & Throat/Head & Neck surgeon, Mr Stephen Kleid has been practicing for several years. He attended Melbourne University for his medical education and then underwent surgical training at renowned hospitals such as Royal Melbourne, Royal Children's, The Eye & Ear, and St Vincents. To gain more experience in ENT/HN tumours, Mr Kleid served as a surgeon at the University of Florida Medical School.

Mr Kleid has actively contributed to Cochlear Implant (Bionic ear) research and continues to be involved in research related to Throat and Mouth cancers, Thyroid tumours, Parotid tumours, Rhinoplasty, and snoring/sleep apnoea. Since 1989, he has been serving as the senior ENT/HN tumour surgeon at the prestigious Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. In addition, Mr Kleid worked for two decades as a surgeon at Royal Melbourne, eventually becoming the Head of the Department.

Apart from his clinical practice, Mr Kleid is also actively involved in teaching and lecturing students and trainees. He teaches and lectures to Medical students, Surgical trainees, and Surgeons from abroad who seek extra training on their visit to Melbourne. His exceptional knowledge and expertise have resulted in invitations to speak at conferences in Australia and around the globe.
