Mr Liang Low

Dr. Liang Low is an accomplished General Surgeon with a specialization in laparoscopic and upper gastro-intestinal surgery. Operating regularly at Waverley Private Hospital and consulting at the Specialist Medical Centre in Mount Waverley, Dr. Low is renowned for delivering compassionate and comprehensive care.

After graduating from Monash University in 1996 and completing his residency at the Alfred Hospital, Mr. Low attained his general surgical fellowship in 2004. He proceeded to receive extensive post-fellowship training as the Fellow in Oesophago-Gastric Surgery at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where he gained an unparalleled experience treating benign and malignant tumors of the stomach and oesophageal cancers.

Dr. Low is actively engaged in medical education as the Head of Department of the Upper GI and Hepatobiliary Surgical Unit at Monash Health. He also serves as a representative on the Victorian State Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, works as a Lead Clinician in the Southern Metropolitan Integrated Cancer Services, and advises DHS in delivering improvements in cancer care.
