Meet Mr Justin James, a skilled Oncoplastic Breast, Endocrine, and General Surgeon, now practicing at Waverley Private Hospital. With a passion for delivering outstanding and personalised surgical care for breast and endocrine conditions, he is highly experienced in oncoplastic breast surgery and committed to providing evidence-based, multidisciplinary breast cancer treatment in a friendly and supportive setting.

Justin completed his specialist General Surgery training at Monash Health and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2014. He underwent further training in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at Royal Perth Hospital, Eastern Health, and Robina Hospital. He also completed a Master of Surgery (breast surgery) at Sydney University, as well as a Certificate in clinician-performed Ultrasound (CCPU).

Since completing his training, Justin has been working as a consultant surgeon at Eastern Health in Melbourne, where he specialises in oncoplastic breast surgery and endocrine surgery. He is a surgical member of Maroondah Breast Screen and provides acute general surgery at Box Hill and Maroondah Hospital. Justin is an active member of the Section of Academic Surgery of RACS since 2016 and has participated in numerous clinical research projects, resulting in publications in several international peer-reviewed journals.
