Mr Jacob Vanyai

Meet Mr Jacob Vanyai, an experienced General Surgeon with a particular interest in Upper Gastrointestinal (GI) conditions. Mr Vanyai’s top priority is always ensuring his patients receive the best possible care using the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques and modern enhanced recovery protocols.

Mr Vanyai's training includes General Surgery at Monash Health and Alfred Health. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013 and also gained additional experience in General Surgery at Royal Darwin Hospital and in Upper GI surgery at John Hunter Hospital and Western Health. Notably, he is accredited to perform diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

Furthermore, Mr Vanyai is a member of the Australia and New Zealand Gastro Oesophageal Surgery Association as well as the Australia and New Zealand Hepatic, Pancreatic and Biliary Association. As an active member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, he shares his expertise with fellow surgeons as an instructor in surgical and critical care skills.
