Dr Nicole Winter

Dr. Nicole Winter is a highly qualified Upper Gastrointestinal, Bariatric, and General Surgeon practising in Melbourne, Victoria. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Winter is known for her exceptional surgical skills and her dedication to her patients' well-being.

After completing her Medical Degree at the University of Melbourne in 2007, Dr. Winter went on to achieve her fellowship in general surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2016. She subsequently completed subspecialty training in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery from ANZGOSA at Box Hill Hospital in Melbourne and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. Further, Dr. Winter completed a Bariatric fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and at St Vincent’s Hospital Northside, where she worked with renowned bariatric surgeon Dr. George Hopkins.

Dr. Winter has a broad range of interests, with a special focus on the treatment of oesophageal and gastric cancer, hiatus hernia repair, anti-reflux surgery, and bariatric surgery.
