Dr Bryan Pang

Dr Bryan N Pang is a highly qualified and experienced endocrinologist with a special interest in a wide range of endocrine disorders. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Edinburgh, UK in 2006, followed by Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Adult Medicine Division in 2015. Dr Pang is also certified by the Australian Medical Council. Dr Pang completed his specialist endocrinology training at St Vincent’s Health, Western Health, and Austin Health in Melbourne. He has admitting rights to St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne, Epworth Richmond, and Epworth Freemasons. With fluency in several languages including Cantonese, Mandarin, Simplified Chinese, and Malay, Dr Pang is able to provide excellent care to a diverse patient population. Dr Pang's areas of expertise include the management of type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, thyroid disorders, gestational diabetes, pregnancy-related thyroid disorders, parathyroid disease, obesity and weight control, type 1 diabetes, hypertension, lipid disorders, biochemical abnormalities (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium), vitamin D deficiency, LADA (late-onset autoimmune diabetes), steroid-induced hyperglycemia, adrenal disease, pituitary disorders, and perioperative medicine. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Pang has been involved in various research projects and has received recognition for his contributions. He has published studies in reputable journals such as BMJ Open Diabetes Research and Care, and has presented his findings at international conferences such as the American Diabetes Association Scientific Meeting and the Australian Diabetes Society Annual Scientific Meeting.
