Dr Ie-Wen Sim is an experienced endocrinologist and andrologist with a strong focus on andrology, reproductive endocrinology, and metabolic bone disorders. His impressive academic record includes a First Class Honours degree from the University of Melbourne and specialist training in endocrinology at Western Health and St Vincent’s Hospital, followed by a prestigious clinical fellowship in andrology and reproductive endocrinology at Monash Health. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Sim is an accomplished researcher. He is currently completing his PhD in metabolic bone disease and has been awarded a highly competitive NHMRC postgraduate scholarship for his work in this area. Dr Sim has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and is a respected reviewer for leading bone and andrology publications. He has also been invited to speak at international and national conferences. Dr Sim is committed to delivering high-quality care to his patients. He is an andrologist at Monash IVF, where he specialises in male fertility and androgen deficiency, among other areas. He also holds public appointments at several hospitals, including Monash Health, Eastern Health, and Western Health. Dr Sim is heavily involved in teaching and currently serves as a lecturer at the University of Melbourne, as well as an adjunct senior lecturer at Monash University. Dr Sim’s expertise covers a broad range of endocrinological issues, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary disorders. He has a particular interest in conditions relating to reproductive endocrinology, endocrinology in pregnancy, and calcium and metabolic bone disorders such as osteoporosis. Dr Sim is committed to providing personalised care and works closely with his patients to achieve their health goals.
