Damien Loh is an Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon who specialises in treating stomach and oesophageal disorders, as well as carrying out weight loss surgeries. After completing his medical training at the University of Melbourne, Mr. Loh obtained his Fellowship in General Surgery in 2012. His passion for surgery and commitment to providing high-quality medical services led him to complete additional specialized training in Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery at various centers throughout Australia. Currently, Mr. Loh works as an Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon at The Alfred and as a General Surgeon at The Northern Hospital. Throughout his career, Mr. Loh has published numerous articles in both local and international journals and presented at various meetings and conferences. He also has a passion for teaching and has mentored numerous surgical colleagues and other allied health staff. He is currently a Faculty Instructor of the surgical skills and techniques course (ASSET) at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Membership in different professional associations, such as the Australia and New Zealand Gastric and Oesophageal Association, and Obesity Surgery Society of Australia and New Zealand, has enabled Mr. Loh to remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on the newest developments in his field. Mr. Loh was formerly a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame in Sydney. Mr. Loh is committed to providing the highest quality of surgical care to the community. His practice philosophy is based on a thorough and collaborative approach to ensure his patients get the best possible treatment for their conditions.
