Dr Isobel Porter

Dr. Isobel Porter is an Australian Medical Oncologist specialising in the treatment of gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers. Currently based in Frenchs Forest, Sydney, Dr. Porter serves as a Visiting Medical Oncologist (VMO) at Northern Beaches Hospital and GenesisCare Frenchs Forest.

After completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Bond University in 2008, Dr. Porter went on to obtain her postgraduate degree in Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Griffith University in 2012. She then pursued further training in physician and medical oncology at Royal North Shore Hospital, where she honed her skills in cancer care.

Dr. Porter's commitment to providing the best possible care to her patients led her to work as an Oncology Clinical Trials Fellow at Royal North Shore Hospital and GenesisCare St Leonards. She firmly believes in the importance of clinical trials for advancing the field of oncology and improving treatment options for patients. In addition, Dr. Porter actively contributes to the local Urology and Gastrointestinal Cancers Multidisciplinary Teams, collaborating with fellow experts to provide comprehensive care.

As the secretary of the Geriatric Oncology Emerging Experts and Researchers Group (GOEER), Dr. Porter is deeply involved in research and strives to bring about innovative treatments. Her dedication to staying at the forefront of medical advancements ensures that her patients receive the most up-to-date and effective care available.
