A/Prof Alex Guminski

A/Prof Alex Guminski is a renowned medical oncologist based in Sydney, Australia. With a primary practice in Wollstonecraft, he is highly respected in his field for his expert knowledge and clinical experience in the treatment and research of various types of cancers, including breast, bowel, head and neck, lung, prostate, and skin cancers.

A/Prof Guminski obtained his Bachelor of Science in Medicine and Bachelor of Medicine, both with honours, and went on to complete his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Medical Oncology. He is particularly invested in exploring novel biological agents and immunotherapy for the treatment of advanced cancers. His research focuses on treatment sequencing, combinations of immunotherapy with radiotherapy, peptide receptor radionuclide therapy, conventional chemotherapy, and targeted agents in selected patients.
