Dr Michael van der Griend

Dr Michael van der Griend is a very experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based in St Leonards, Sydney, Australia. He currently practices at North Shore Private Hospital, where he offers a range of services to women in need of specialised care.

Dr van der Griend obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of New South Wales in 1985. He later pursued further qualifications and achieved his Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists from the United Kingdom in 1992. In 1994, he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

With over 23 years of experience, Dr van der Griend has developed a particular interest in high-risk pregnancy management, infertility, contraception, abnormal Pap smears, and menstrual disorders.
