Dr Alastair Morris

Dr Alastair Morris is a highly accomplished obstetrician and gynaecologist with over three decades of experience. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1990 and has been practicing in Sydney since 2001. Throughout his career, he has earned several distinguished memberships and awards, such as a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, a Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr Morris has also completed Fellowships in urogynecology and laparoscopic gynecological surgery, which earned him the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) for his original research at the University of New South Wales. He is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney, where he imparts his medical knowledge and skills to aspiring students.

Currently, Dr Morris works at prominent medical institutions such as North Shore Private Hospital, The Mater, and the Royal North Shore Hospital. He specialises in obstetrics and the treatment of benign gynecological conditions, including miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroids, and single incision laparoscopic procedures.

In obstetrics, Dr Morris is a strong supporter of vaginal delivery after a previous caesarean section, ensuring that his patients are well-informed and comfortable throughout their pregnancy journey. As a gynaecologist, he specialises in the management of early pregnancy problems and laparoscopic gynecological surgery, including single incision procedures, for his patients.
